Here is a side view of a maple Stealth with a tobacco sunburst. Most Stealth owners who select maple opt for gold plating, but this one is plated with nickel.
Scott recently made a custom Stealth for Nashville attorney and banjo picker, Alan Johnson, a serious student of Celtic fiddle music. His new Stealth has a Celtic inlay theme - the first inlaid Stealth fingerboard!
In addition to the Celtic knot pattern on Alan's Stealth fingerboard, he had a Celtic-themed resonator inlay custom designed for this banjo as well. Alan has written a
terrific book on Celtic fiddle tunes for banjo.
Here is a close up look at the resonator inlay in the Celtic Stealth.
The Celtic inlay pattern (neck/resonator) is
available as an option for an additional $900.
