A new option for Stealth owners is a black chrome finish. Here is an all-black model: black wood finish, black head and bridge with the black chrome plating on the metal parts.

Black Stealth banjo with black chrome plating The tobacco sunburst has been a favorite finish on maple banjos for many years and it is well-suited to the simplicity of the Stealth design.

Here is another view of a "black-on-black" Stealth. This finish can be ordered for the same price as gold plating.

Here is a side view of a maple Stealth with a tobacco sunburst. Most Stealth owners who select maple opt for gold plating, but this one is plated with nickel.

Alan Johnson's Celtic Stealth Scott recently made a custom Stealth for Nashville attorney and banjo picker, Alan Johnson, a serious student of Celtic fiddle music. His new Stealth has a Celtic inlay theme - the first inlaid Stealth fingerboard!

Alan Johnson's Celtic Stealth In addition to the Celtic knot pattern on Alan's Stealth fingerboard, he had a Celtic-themed resonator inlay custom designed for this banjo as well. Alan has written a terrific book on Celtic fiddle tunes for banjo.

Here is a close up look at the resonator inlay in the Celtic Stealth. Celtic Stealth resonator pattern
The Celtic inlay pattern (neck/resonator) is available as an option for an additional $900.
